Un duo diretto e interpretato da Veronica Cendoya (danza e coreografia) e Adele Madau (violino elettrico, forbici da potare amplificate, loop station, composizione delle musiche originali).
La performance è ispirata all’universo della scrittrice catalana Mercè Rodoreda.Questo duo è stato creato per il concorso “Balla Balla Rodoreda”, organizzato dal centro coreografico “La Caldera” di Barcellona nel dicembre 2008 per celebrare l’anno “Rodoreda”.
E’ risultato uno dei tre progetti vincitori.
“Il Jardin” è una metafora della creazione. Si tratta di un giardino immaginario e surreale, ispirato al mondo interiore e alla produzione letteraria di Mercè Rodoreda. In esso vengono rappresentate attraverso la musica e la danza, l’empatia, la relazione e l’interazione tra un creatore e le sue creature con il loro reciproco influenzarsi e
identificarsi.
Uno spazio in cui la figura e la vita di una scrittrice si mescolano con la vita e i caratteri dei suoi personaggi.
Un giardino costruito e abitato da due signore che presentano le caratteristiche delle protagoniste dei romanzi della Rodoreda: donne tenere e fragili con una grande forza interiore, abituate a lottare e liberarsi da ambienti e situazioni che a volte le affogano e le costringono.
In definitiva, donne che non si lasciano prendere dalla rassegnazione.
Attraverso il movimento si rende l’universo interiore. Il movimento del corpo sostituisce la parola scritta. La sonorizzazione tramite oggetti quotidiani e il suono del violino elettrico suonato in maniera non covenzionale duettano con il corpo, creando un pezzo pieno di emozioni e sincerità.

and support of street arts, will drive to a new consciousness and
will produce new stimulus in administrators and art operators. This
route could not be undertaken on a simple regional or local level.
Our country, now, is Europe!
