The INVASION project is a mixture of visual spectacle and interaction between audience and actors, based on non-verbal physical theater and site-specific live compositions. Through a light and playful narrative of pink intergalactic immigrants from outer space accidentally landing on our planet, we are inviting the audience to actively confront their own personal xenophobia. Of course we can adjust and change some of them due to the circumstances and needs of the showcase. We would be happy to discuss all in details in case the show is selected. - The optimal length of the itinerant performance is 100m to max. 250m. - The preparations for the performance (warming up, make up, etc.) start 3 hours before the show. - Dressing room for 8 people (not smaller than 5x5m) with lights, mirrors, chairs and bathroom with 2 showers (with running hot water that would be enough for 2 hours of constant use) close to the location of the action/performance are required. The distance from the dressing room to the starting point of the performance must be less than 100 meters (if it is further away, vehicle transportation is required). The dressing room should be available at least 6 hours before the actions and up to 3 hours after the show. - The organizers should provide a car with a local driver for each performance (at the end of the show, the aliens are usually “stealing” a car and driving away). The creation of a international debate, the comparisons between normative and laws, different urban patterns and policies for development and support of street arts, will drive to a new consciousness and will produce new stimulus in administrators and art operators. This route could not be undertaken on a simple regional or local level. Our country, now, is Europe!
