INTERNATIONAL “CITTÀ DI GERACE” AWARD

Street Art, Urban Theatre and Contemporary Circus within the International Festival “IL BORGO INCANTATO” Gerace, 26–28 July 2026

The Award aims to promote artistic excellence in street art, urban theatre and contemporary circus; support the work of Italian and international artists regardless of their country of residence, encouraging the circulation of new creations and new performative languages; foster dialogue among artists, cultural operators and the professional community; create opportunities for exchange and collaboration among festivals, companies and programmers; and contribute to the cultural growth and national and international visibility of the town of Gerace.

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the online form provided by the organisation and available at the following address:

Creative Europe Cooperation Webinar

Webinar on preparing applications and building partnerships in the Performing Arts sector for the Creative Europe call expiring on 23th February 2023.

Open Street aisbl organizes a two-day webinar on Wednesday 25th and Friday 27th January 2023. The meeting will be aimed to understand all the theoretical and practical aspects of the last Creative Europe Call - Cooperation Projects – in order to prepare good applications by the deadline of February 23th, 2023.

Open Street is a performing arts network that embraces Europe and has been successful with EU culture tenders countless times. One of its tasks is to bring together organizations from all countries of the continent in the performing arts sector and to foster the creation of new partnerships. That's why the initiative at the end of January is not just a workshop but a cultural cooperation event.

The meeting will take place on Zoom platform. In the two afternoons it will be possible to follow and participate to the work in English, Italian and French, thanks to the provision of 3 different audio channels within the platform and the simultaneous translation carried out by professional interpreters.

Creative Europe call for cooperation projects open

This new Creative Europe call will support projects to carry out a broad spectrum of activities and initiatives involving artists and stakeholders active in different cultural and creative sectors. With a budget of €60 million, the action will foster cooperation between organisations active in the culture field, to increase the European dimension of creation and circulation of European artistic content as well as to encourage the development, experimentation, dissemination or application of new and innovative practices.

Type of action CREA: Lump Sum Grants
The consortium most be composed of minimum 3 entities from 3 different eligible countries.
The maximum EU grant amount is of EUR 200 000 per project.
The funding rate is of maximum 80%

European Cooperation projects Medium Scale
CREA-CULT-2023-COOP-2
Type of action CREA: Lump Sum Grants
The consortium most be composed of minimum 5 entities from 5 different eligible countries.
The maximum EU grant amount is of EUR 1 000 000 per project.
The funding rate is of maximum 70%

European Cooperation projects Large Scale

The consortium most be composed of minimum 10 entities from 10 different eligible countries.
The maximum EU grant amount is of EUR 2 000 000 per project.
The funding rate is of maximum 60%
